Hello from Cambridge, Ontario
Hi all,
I'm really excited to be joining in on the next discussion! I've started listening to The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time on CD while I knit. It's the first time I've tried a book on CD. For us knitting folk too clumsy to balance an open book along with our knitting on our laps it's real handy.
Reading and knitting are two of my passions. I've been knitting all my life but never actually finished making anything other than socks and mitts. Now I have a baby sweater to brag about (that I'm supposed to be giving away but I think I'm gonna keep it). I'm working on self patterning socks right now, a poncho and a hot water bottle cover. I'm really branching out now! I've also been reading all my life and have worked in libraries (city and primary school), once I begin my teaching career I'd like to take some additional classes to become a primary school teacher-librarian.
And also: I'm 26, I live with my wonderful partner London and our dog Jasper, I haven't seen a real Canadian winter in 2 years, I'm a Virgo and I can't wait to chat with everyone!
