hellllo out there
i'm very happy to join a book club finally! that we are all also knitters is just icing on the cake ;)
i'm a single, underslept, talks-too-fast, almost 28 yr old gal living out in los angeles. i'm a library student at ucla and i work at a radio archives too. what else, i love to read (duh), speak a few languages fluently, and i have out-of-control hair. that about sums me up!
right now i'm non-fiction-wise re-reading noah's garden by sarah stein. if you're into gardening and worried about our environment, you'll love this book. in the fiction department, i'm about to start emma burning by shannon hale. it's a sequel to hale's goose girl, a re-telling of the old fairy tale of.. well, the goose girl! anyway, the first book was excellent and i can't wait to dig into this next one.
i'm looking forward to meeting and chatting with all of you ~ thanks for letting me join ;)
oh, i almost forgot about my techie-labor-of-love, better known as my website: mellowtrouble.net.

Cool. Another library person. I work in a law library (I am a tech grunt), doing book and mail processing mostly. Very exciting!
