Better Late than Never?

Hello my fellow knitters and readers!
I was unable to read the January selection, and I have already read the February selection, so I am ready to start the discussions! Can't wait to hear what everyone thinks about this fascinating book.

A short introduction for those who do not know me: My name is Lauren, and I often go by Lolly in the knitblog world. I live in Maryland, and have a great husband, two adorable pups, two kitties, and lots of fish. It is a zoo :)

I am in grad school studying Library Science and History, and I currently work as an archivist. When I finish school, I will begin my career as a Special Collections Librarian... so you can see why this book club is perfect for me: books are so dear to me! I have enjoyed reading all of my life, and until I took up knitting, it is what I did with ALL of my spare time. Now they have to share :) I began knitting in November 2003, and you can see my adventures over at my blog, http://lollygirl.com/blog.

Lately, I find myself really enjoying more non-fiction, but I always enjoy a little get away, and fiction provides that. I have read so many books, and became really active in a great online community called Bookcrossing (www.bookcrossing.com) where I found so many books that I did not even know existed. If you have the time to devote to it, it is an amazing site!
