Lindbergh's Double Life
Hope you're all enjoying the book!
I was reading the New York Times this morning and there was an article on people who lead double lives - you know - two wives, kids, etc. Apparently Lindbergh led one.
Click here for the article. (Unfortunately you'll have to register with the NYT to see it, but it's free.)
Here's a story from the BBC about it.
Here's another interesting link: Lindbergh's FBI files. They're hard to read - but interesting. Apparently some people weren't too happy about Lindy's involvement with the Germans. (Beware though - there's a lot of conspiracy theory stuff out there with Lindbergh - especially because of the kidnapping.)

I'm still waiting for a copy of my book to get here, so I'll hold off on reading these links for a little longer...in the meantime, here are a couple of handy ways for getting around NYTimes required registration:
http://www.bugmenot.com/
Generates a login for you, so that you don't have to deal with any junk mail later or anything. Works on other sites besides NYTimes too. You just paste in the main URL (www.nytimes.com, etc.) and the login/password are generated.
http://nytimes.blogspace.com/genlink
Generates a registration-less link to the story that you can use on your web site.
Both of these are from Librarian.net, by the way.
